MLB

  • Pirates 4 Reds 1
    • This was yet another loss for the Reds, but Hunter Greene might be special one day. His ERA is still up at 4.66, but Greene was phenomenal yesterday, tossing six scoreless innings and striking out 10 Pirates.
  • Yankees 5 Blue Jays 2
    • The Yankees clinched the AL East yesterday, and should be set up for success in the postseason if Jameson Taillon keeps up the good work on the mound. In addition to Taillon, New York has a lot working for it, including a fairly healthy lineup heading into October.
  • Astros 10 Diamondbacks 2
    • Not only do the Astros hold the AL’s best record — they’re also the AL club I trust the most this coming October. Jose Altuve rounding into elite form this month only furthers my confidence in the team. Altuve went 3/4 with two home runs in this game, putting the finishing touches on an awesome September for the second baseman.
