- Jets receive: Aaron Rodgers, No. 15 pick, and No. 170 pick
- Packers receive: No. 13 pick, No. 42 pick, No. 207 pick, and 2024 first-round pick
- The Jets should be in position to contend in 2023. After all, the club was essentially a competent quarterback away, and Rodgers certainly fits that bill. The price tag for this acquisition is a bit rich, as surrendering a high 2024 selection may be a tough pill to swallow, but it will likely be worth it for New York. The Jets, if most things go right, will win at least 10 games this season.
Jets Grade: B - The Packers, given recent and not so recent developments, basically had to trade Rodgers, and Green Bay did well in terms of its return for the future Hall of Famer. Acquiring pick No. 42 was a nice start, but the 2024 selection puts the cherry on top. I don’t love where Green Bay is headed — the franchise may need to blow it up, but Brian Gutekunst did a nice job with this trade.

- Rockets hire Ime Udoka as head coach
- Udoka has proven himself over the course of his coaching career to be one of the league’s better coaches, so this isn’t a bad decision at all by Houston. Of course, Udoka was dismissed from the Celtics last year for inappropriate workplace conduct, so there’s certainly some risk to this hire.
