• Five-star QB Dylan Raiola commits to Georgia
  • Georgia is a machine right now — both on the field and on the recruiting trail. The Bulldogs aren’t new to landing five-star passers, as Kirby Smart signed Justin Fields and Brock Vandagriff prior to securing Raiola’s pledge, but Georgia is surely hoping its newest commit has more of an impact in Athens than Fields and Vandagriff. Georgia is the nation’s best program at the moment, and it’ll take a strong effort for any team to overtake it.

  • The Mets have numerous players performing below expectations, but the pitching of yesterday’s starter, David Peterson, stands out in particular. Peterson was fine a year ago for New York, straddling between the roles of starter and reliever, but he’s been an abomination in 2023, pitching to a 1-6 record with a 8.08 ERA.
