• NBA suspends Grizzlies PG Ja Morant for 25 games
  • This suspension is lighter than I expected, but the Grizzlies will still be tasked with replacing the talented Morant for an extended period of time. Fortunately, Tyus Jones is already in tow, and has fared well in the past when filling in for the All-Star point guard. In fact, the team as a whole has arguably played better without Morant in recent years, although the unit will be tested more than ever this upcoming season. Even with its starting point guard sidelined for 25 games, the Grizzlies are still a solid bet to return to the playoffs in 2024.
