Mississippi State fires head coach Zach Arnett

The Bulldogs did the right thing in promoting Arnett to head coach following the tragic passing of Mike Leach, but now, at 4-6, Mississippi State is also doing the right thing in searching for a new head coach. Mississippi State is probably a bottom-tier job in the SEC, but the administration should still be able to attract quality candidates. In fact, maybe Arnett will stay on as defensive coordinator, his previous position prior to being promoted.
