Nevada fires head coach Ken Wilson

Wilson lasted just two seasons in Reno, but this is the correct call given the 59-year-old’s 4-20 record with the Wolf Pack. It’s unrealistic to expect Nevada to contend in the Mountain West every season, but the program should expect better than what Wilson gave them.

2024 five-star WR Cameron Coleman flips commitment to Auburn from Texas A&M

It’s no surprise the Aggies are losing commitments following the firing of Jimbo Fisher. Fisher didn’t turn in great results on the field, but he brought plenty of high-end talent to College Station — a feat that probably won’t be matched by Mike Elko. Coleman, the No. 7 player for the class of 2024, joins Auburn’s top-20 class. If Hugh Freeze continues to land recruits as talented as Coleman, the Tigers should be good again fairly soon.
