Titans fire head coach Mike Vrabel

This is one of the worst NFL firings I’ve seen in quite some time, especially since Tennessee could’ve obtained some draft capital in exchange for its respected former head coach. Instead of trading Vrabel, though, the Titans decided to simply fire him because Amy Adams Strunk didn’t feel like canvassing and waiting out the trade market. It’s safe to say Vrabel will be highly sought after in the coming days and weeks, and if the Patriots and Bill Belichick part ways, it would make plenty of sense for the former New England linebacker to return to the organization he won three Super Bowls with.
