Broncos receive: Zach Wilson and 2024 seventh-round pick (256)
Jets receive: 2024 sixth-round pick (203)

With Jarrett Stidham leading the quarterback room, Denver needed to add another body or two, so acquiring Wilson makes sense, especially given the measly price of moving back 53 spots late in the draft. The 2021 No. 2 overall pick likely won’t open the season as the starter for the Broncos, but this is a low-risk move.

Selecting Wilson was obviously an awful decision, but the Jets are doing the right thing by cutting their losses and getting something in return for the draft bust. New York has already added Tyrod Taylor to back up Aaron Rodgers, so Wilson’s services were no longer required.

Broncos Grade: B
Jets Grade: B+
