Titans sign WR Tyler Boyd to one-year, $4.5 million contract

$4.5 million is the maximum value of this contract. Tennessee hasn’t made the sharpest of moves lately, but the Titans’ resource allocation is making it clear the team is doing everything in its power to make sure Will Levis doesn’t fail. Boyd, one of the league’s more reliable slot receivers, joins DeAndre Hopkins and Calvin Ridley to form one of the better Tennessee wide receiver rooms in recent memory. Of course, the Titans aren’t exactly known as a receiver factory, but the point still stands.

Seton Hall transfer PG Kadary Richmond commits to St. John’s

St. John’s is on a roll. Sure, adding Deivon Smith yesterday was important, but bringing in Richmond, the best available player in the portal, changes the calculus for the Red Storm in a big way. Last season, playing for rival Seton Hall, Richmond posted 15.7 points, 7.0 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game, so suffice to say he’ll play a major role for Rick Pitino’s program.
