Colorado transfer CB Cormani McClain commits to Florida

McClain returns to his home state, where he probably should’ve began his college career. At first, Colorado’s shine stood out to the talented cover man, but a lack of stability within the program led to McClain’s departure. The Gators are in a tough spot as a program, as Florida faces a daunting schedule this season and questions remain regarding Billy Napier’s status in Gainesville. Nonetheless, McClain, a former five-star recruit, should help the team right away.

UNC Wilmington transfer PF Trazarien White commits to TCU

White steadily progressed throughout his three years as a Seahawk, going from 6.9 points per game in 2022 to 19.8 in 2024. The Big 12 represents the highest level of college basketball, but White should still make an impact in the league. The forward will likely join Frankie Collins, Noah Reynolds, Brendan Wenzel and Ernest Udeh in the starting five. Jamie Dixon will have yet another quality team in Fort Worth.
