Vikings sign OT Christian Darrisaw to four-year, $113 million contract extension
The left tackle market was lagging compared to other high-value positions; this deal changes that, at least to a degree. In an overdue development, Darrisaw raises the top of the market for the position to over $28 million per year, an appropriate figure for the second-most valuable position in football.
Darrisaw, 25, is already among the best blind-side protectors in the NFL, and the Vikings are wisely surrounding J.J. McCarthy with premium talent for once the No. 10 overall selection is ready to take the field. Minnesota is paying a premium for Darrisaw, but this extension should still age well.

Jaguars sign CB Tyson Campbell to four-year, $76.5 million contract extension
Campbell has yet to make the Pro Bowl, but he’s just 24 and already pushing to be one of the NFL’s top cornerbacks, at least based on his 2022 effort. This extension will pay him as such. Jacksonville has made a concerted to effort to lock up its homegrown talent, inking Campbell, Trevor Lawrence and Josh Hines-Allen to long-term contracts this offseason.

Dolphins sign EDGE Emmanuel Ogbah to one-year, $5 million contract
The Dolphins released Ogbah back in March, but in the NFL, circumstances change quickly, and Miami’s pass-rushing unit is different now than it was then. For starters, Shaquil Barrett retired last week, opening up a spot in the team’s edge rotation. The Dolphins also have three edge rushers sidelined, so Ogbah will have a chance to impress immediately. The 30-year-old registered five sacks in 2023.

NBA
76ers sign PG Reggie Jackson to one-year contract
I assume this deal is for the veteran’s minimum. Last season in Denver, Jackson outperformed expectations, taking on extra minutes (22.2 per game) as a number of Nuggets young players struggled. Now, the veteran guard is joining an older team, but he’ll still serve as insurance, this time for No. 16 overall pick Jared McCain. McCain should be ready from day one — he’s an excellent shooter — but Jackson will be ready if something goes wrong.
