Titans receive: LB Ernest Jones and 2026 sixth-round pick

The moment Los Angeles decided against giving Jones a long-term contract, a trade seemed likely. It’s been a questionable series of decisions by the Rams, and now the franchise only has a 2026 fifth-round pick to show for losing the heart of the middle of its defense.

Jones is a solid linebacker, capable of quarterbacking a defense, so this is a steal for the Titans. The 24-year-old recorded 145 tackles and 4.5 sacks in 2023. Tennessee shouldn’t have fired Mike Vrabel, but has still managed to improve this offseason.
