Chargers sign K Cameron Dicker to four-year, $22.04 million contract extension

Dicker doesn’t even have two full seasons of work yet, but he’s already established himself as one of the NFL’s most accurate kickers. Last season, the 24-year-old connected on 93.9 percent of field goals, so the Chargers are wisely locking in their exceptional kicker.

Army moves to the AAC this season after years as an independent, and this was a successful tune-up for the Black Knights before they take on Florida Atlantic next week. To defeat the Owls, Army will need to carry over its rushing output from this game, where the team rushed for 375 yards.

2025 five-star WR Jaime Ffrench commits to Texas

First it was Kaliq Lockett. Now, Ffrench. With those two standouts committed, Texas has two five-star wideouts in the same recruiting class, setting up Arch Manning or whoever else is under center in Austin for success. Ffrench, the No. 19 player for 2025 possesses elite ball skills.

Clippers sign C Ivica Zubac to three-year, $58.6 million contract extension

Zubac is a quintessential representation of getting better every year. Still just 27 years old, the center averaged 11.7 points and 9.2 rebounds per game last season, anchoring the paint for a small Clippers team. With Paul George off to Philadelphia and Kawhi Leonard injury prone and another year past his peak, Zubac should be featured more than ever for Los Angeles. This is a fair deal for the Clippers — at worst.

Pacers sign PG T.J. McConnell to four-year, $45 million contract extension

At 32, the perpetually underrated McConnell had his best season, posting 10.2 points and 5.5 assists per game off the bench for a Pacers team that surprised everybody and made the Eastern Conference Finals. It’ll be difficult for both team and player to repeat those feats in the near future, but Indiana is still getting a good deal here. The downside of this extension, of course, is the point guard’s age. This contract will take McConnell through his age-37 season, but by 2029, the Pacers will probably have already extracted positive value from this extension.
