Vikings sign DT Harrison Phillips to two-year, $19 million contract extension

Not many recognize how solid a player Phillips is, but at least the Vikings do. The 28-year-old had a strong season in 2023 with 92 tackles and three sacks, and carried that play into this year, recording five tackles and a sack on Sunday. The defensive tackle graded out as the ninth-best player at his position in Week 1, according to PFF.
