Patriots C David Andrews out for season with shoulder injury
Andrews was battling shoulder issues for a while, so it’s hard to fault him for opting to have surgery. As a result, the Patriots’ already anemic offense will take another hit. Through four games, the team has scored just 13 points per game, and is now left with just one starting-level offensive lineman — Mike Onwenu.
New England — and Drake Maye — would be best served if the rookie quarterback remained on the bench. The offense is just too barren to expose the talented signal-caller to a rough beating.
