Cardinals G Will Hernandez out for season with knee injury
Hernandez is the leader of a surprisingly strong Cardinals’ offensive line, so Arizona’s attack will suffer as a result of his season-ending injury. Either third-round rookie Isaiah Adams or Trystan Colon — a step back, regardless — will fill in for Hernandez.
Panthers C Austin Corbett out for season with ruptured biceps tendon
Carolina remade its offensive line last offseason, mostly garnering positive returns. The loss of Corbett, however, will set the unit back, as the center is a league-average starter — at worst.
It’s possible that undrafted rookie Andrew Raym will replace Corbett in the lineup. If so, an already putrid Panthers team will become even worse.
Bengals CB Dax Hill out for season with torn ACL
Hill struggled during his first two NFL seasons after being selected in the first round in 2022, but he’s taken a sizeable step forward as a third-year pro. Through five contests, the cornerback has 25 tackles and a sack.
On the bright side, Cincinnati won’t have to scramble to replace Hill, as it has 2023 second-round selection DJ Turner waiting in the wings. Expect more Josh Newton the rest of the way, as well.
