Dodgers sign RP Tanner Scott to four-year, $72 million contract

Can we go ahead and pencil the Dodgers in for 110 wins this season? Advanced metrics will likely be on the more conservative side and go under that total, but this team is loaded. Los Angeles doesn’t have a weakness, and even if it did, it wouldn’t be the back-end of the bullpen. With this signing, Scott joins Blake Treinen, Michael Kopech and Evan Phillips as those most likely to occupy roles in the late innings for the Dodgers.

Having four high-end relievers is a luxury, but with as formidable as the Dodgers are, they’re rightfully making sure they don’t blow leads. Therefore, adding Scott makes sense. The lefty pitched to a 1.75 ERA and recorded 22 saves in 2024.
