Hornets sign SG Antonio Reeves to two-way contract

Charlotte is waiving Damion Baugh to make room for Reeves.

The Pelicans waived Reeves earlier this month, prior to his minimum salary becoming guaranteed. That was surprising, but little that Joe Dumars has done in New Orleans has made sense.

Reeves, 24, is one of the better shooters in the league, having posted a 57.9 true shooting percentage as a rookie in 2025. Any tangible improvement in other areas could make Reeves something close to a rotation player.
