Howie Roseman is going back to the well. Last year, the Eagles traded for an early-round reclamation project at receiver in Jahan Dotson. That transaction led to scattered results, though the 2022 first-round pick was the No. 3 wideout for the Super Bowl champions.

Expect less of a role in Philadelphia for Metchie. The 2022 second rounder missed his rookie season, and has recorded just 412 receiving yards in his career. As an end-of-roster wide receiver that didn’t help contribute on special teams, Metchie no longer had a spot in Houston.

Bryant, in wake of Brevin Jordan’s season-ending injury, likely will. The 27-year-old is a clear backup, but should combine with Cade Stover to handle ancillary snaps for the Texans at tight end.

Bryant posted nine receptions for 86 yards last season with the Raiders.
