The Rams have faced challenging circumstances at cornerback since Ahkello Witherspoon broke his clavicle in Week 2. Darious Williams, Cobie Durant and Emmanuel Forbes have all covered for Witherspoon, but to mixed results. McCreary, serviceable from both the outside and slot, adds depth — at worst — at the position for Los Angeles.

McCreary, a 2022 second-round pick, has 33 tackles and one interception this season.

Don’t be surprised if the Titans make more trades between now and next week’s trade deadline. McCreary is the second starting cornerback dealt by Tennessee this year, joining Jarvis Brownlee. A potential fire sale is underway in Nashville.
