Ravens sign C Ethan Pocic to one-year, $4.5 million contract

This agreement is worth up to $4.5 million. The base value is almost certainly worth a bit less than that amount.

Nobody ever said replacing Tyler Linderbaum was going to be easy. Baltimore inked fellow interior offensive lineman Danny Pinter to a slightly smaller deal earlier this offseason, providing immediate competition for Pocic. The two veterans should battle it out in training camp, but Pocic will likely prevail. Regardless, the Ravens will see a drastic decrease in quality of play at center this season.

Pocic, 30, has made 97 career starts at guard and center.
